Features & Benefits

Density & Colours

Neofoam PE is available in multiple densities from PE30 (30kg/m3) which can be used for premium packaging, PE45 (45kg/m3) suitable for protection of tools, PE80 (80kg/m3) and PE120 (120kg/m3) which are both suited for use as gaskets and other industrial applications.

Colours include black, white, blue, grey, yellow and red.

mechanical properties

Neofoam PE foams are lightweight, durable, water resistant, buoyant, have low thermal conductivity, are shock absorbing and vibration dampening with high compressive and tear strength.

Chemical Resistance

Neofoam PE is resistant to chemicals making it a superior material for use in tool control for aerospace, Defence, mining and automotive applications.

Quality

Neofoam PE is produced to a consistent high quality with regular quality control checks and batch testing allowing for tighter tolerances with cleaner lines and sharper edges being achieved during converting.

Tool Control

Neofoam PE45 and PE120 are used to produce PJ Bowers specialised tool control and case inserts for aerospace, Defence, automotive and mining applications.
The PE45 body foam provides superior protection due to its high impact absorption and resistance to compression while the PE120 top layer provides extreme edge protection and durability.

Industrial Packing & Transport

Characteristics such as energy absorption, vibration dampening and resistance to compression make Neofoam PE foams the perfect solution when packaging and transporting large, bulky and valuable industrial products for the oil and gas, mining and engineering sectors.

Construction

Neofoam PE foams are used in a number of construction applications including rigid joint fillers, commonly known as stiff joint as well as acoustic seals to reduce noise in fence products and as a barrier to water, oils and other contaminants.
