PE Foam (Polyethylene) is a flexible, resilient and lightweight chemically cross linked closed cell foam, with a firmer feel when compared to the softer EVA, especially PE45 – PE140 densities. PE Foam is a versatile, affordable, multifuncional material used for both domestic and industrial applications, from foam packaging and padding to expansion joints and filler strips.

PE Foam () is a chemically cross linked closed cell foam, making it impermeable to water, moisture, fungi and bacteria. It features excelent mechanical strenght, thermal insulation and chemical resistance.

Polyethylene Foam is very lightweight, compressible and flexible, it’s widely used wherever a shock absorbing material or padding is required. For example in Stiff Expansion Joint Filler in concreting and construction (PE140), for sports padding on knees or elbows, Tool Control and Tool Inserts, instrument cut outs for higher protection (PE45) and cosplay or costume making where firmer shock absorption is required.

We currently manufacture over 4,000 Closed Cell Custom Made products and supply a wide variety for different industries.

We can split larger blocks of PE, from 100mm standard blocks, to any sheet thickness down to 3mm, at an extra cost. Consult us for custom thicknesses.
